About Me
-
My family is from an Azorean island off the coast of Portugal. Growing up south of Boston, my family carried over the traditions and lifestyle they lived on the island. This instilled an appreciation of stillness and simplicity which informs much of the work I do today.
-
I practiced martial arts for over 10 years and as a result it created a powerful connection with my body and mind. Martial arts profoundly influenced my self-esteem and self-awareness, both tools I help my clients cultivate.
-
Gratitude is a practice that has transformed my life. I have a weekly ritual of writing down what I am grateful for and putting it in a jar. Having proof of what’s going well in my life keeps me balanced, optimistic, and hopeful.
